Hoosier Authority has joined the DigitalSports revolution. What is DigitalSports? It is the most comprehensive and fan friendly system for compiling information and coverage of your sports teams ever developed. DigitalSports is a portal that allows jounalists, administrators, coaches, and fans to enter information, articles, and video into the same system. HoosierAuthority.com will then display that information in the same entertaining, professional manner you have become used to seeing over the past three years.
How does all this benefit you? The answer is—–more ways than you can shale a stick at. We will have more videos than ever before. You will have access to more information about your team and conference, or your favorite sport than ever before. Maybe best of all, you will have access to more statistical information. That is because DigitalSports is the official system for the gathering and display of IHSAA statistics!!
It is our goal to create and manage an individual website for every conference and school athletic program in Indiana. Now as you might imagine, you just don’t flip a switch and roll out a completed version of anything that ambitious. So, we have started by developing five conference sites encompassing 39 schools. They are the Hoosier Crossroads, Hoosier Heartland, Sagamore, Wabash River, and West Central conferences. You will notice at the top right of the home page, a list of the conferences in Indiana. Just click on one of these conferences and take a look at what is eventually in store for everybody in the state!
Here is the best part of all. You will still get the GREAT statewide coverage of your sport that you have come to expect from HoosierAuthority.com. In fact, it will be even better! If you are a fan of a conference or team other than the five original conferences we have created, never fear. You can still get all the statistical information on your team or league by clicking on that conference.
Now, here comes the part where we need your help. If your conference or school is not among the highlighted leagues, we need your help in supplying us with stories, videos, and other information. We also need you to encourage your local athletic director and coaches to become part of the system. This is a great system for everyone involved, but we are only human and can only get to just so many places. The greatest asset we have is YOU, the dedicated readers of HoosierAuthority.com!
